Criminal Defense Attorney For Out-Of-State Clients
Many people are accused of crimes while visiting or passing through western Kentucky. This presents a dual challenge: not only must they face criminal charges, they must either fight them from out of state or return to the area to defend themselves.
My name is Don Thomas, Attorney At Law, and I defend out-of-state clients against criminal charges in Benton, Paducah, Marshall County and beyond. My goal is to make the process as convenient and stress-free for you as possible, and to pursue the best possible outcome in your case. Contact me for more information.
Will You Need To Return To Kentucky To Fight Criminal Charges?
One of the first questions you will want answered is whether or not you will have to return to this state to fight criminal charges. The answer to that question will depend on the specifics of your case, particularly the severity of the crime you have been accused of.
DUI, driving with a suspended license and other traffic violations may not require a return trip on your part. Minor drug charges, like drug possession, may also be handled without requiring you to travel. For these cases, I may be able to appear in court here on your behalf. All communication can be done via phone and email, for your convenience.
For more severe criminal accusations, I will work to minimize your travels. Perhaps you are a family member of an out-of-state resident who has been arrested and incarcerated in western Kentucky. You can be confident in my ability to provide skilled and experienced representation.
